“A Tribute in Song and Verse to Civil Rights Icon Cesar Chavez” will take place Wednesday, April 10 from 2-4 p.m. at the St. John Francis Regis Chapel (3333 Regis Blvd, off of Lowell Blvd).
The program is presented in preparation for the 23rd Annual Marcha & Celebration on Saturday April 13.
Presenters, performers and special guests include Ricardo LaFore, Debra Gallegos, Toby Rampa, Leslie Gomez, Frank Davila, Dr. Ramon Del Castillo, Margie Domingo, Ernesto Alvarado, Dr. Priscilla Falcon, Jose Aguayo and Dr. Nicki Gonzales.
Sponsors include the Colorado Alliance of Latino Mentors and Authors (CALMA), Denver Woman’s Press Club, Regis University and Colorado Humanities.
