Brass Ring Luncheon & Fashion Show
Lafayette 148 New York will present the Spring 2024 Collection at the 46th Annual Brass Ring Luncheon & Fashion Show benefiting The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. The fundraising event and premier fashion show in Denver will be held on Thursday, March 21st, at 10:00 am at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. The luncheon will honor this year’s type 1 heroes, named “Slover’s Heroes,” in tribute to the late Dr. Robert Slover and his valuable contributions as a clinical investigator and advocate to the diabetes community on a global level.
Founded in 1996 in the heart of SoHo, Lafayette 148 New York is a modern American luxury House fusing an understated aesthetic with the dynamism unique to New York City. Creative Director Emily Smith’s art-centric approach is built on a dedication to impeccable craft, exquisite fabrics, and intelligent designs for women.
Attendees can join the fundraising festivities, bidding on various items and experiences through the silent and live auctions – including legendary gift baskets created exclusively for The Guild, mystery bottles of wine from the Wine Pull, and gift cards from local restaurants in the Dine ‘n’ Dash. Additionally, attendees can shop for pre-loved jewelry and handbags from Jewels for Hope and Handbags for Hope.

The ‘brass ring’ symbolizes the overarching goal of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation and the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC) to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. The Guild is the auxiliary volunteer group of the CDF whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of BDC patients living with type 1 diabetes and their families through education, support, advocacy, and research. The Guild includes more than 300 members dedicated to fundraising in the tireless fight against diabetes.
