Virtual Carnaval!

DENVER, CO – Announcing Samba Colorado’s “Virtual Carnaval!”, a hybrid celebration of Brazilian
culture featuring workshops, performances, and an online party. Workshops will take place at Denver
Dance Authority with the option to attend online via Zoom. The evening will culminate with a live show
directed and choreographed by Artistic Director Kebrina Josefina De Jesús, with live music performed by
Samba Colorado Instructor Nico Owen.

Workshops are in Mountain Standard Time, open to the public and limited spots available. All participants
are required to bring masks and maintain social distancing. Ages 13+ are welcome! Evening celebration
will be offered online only and all proceeds will go to Samba Colorado’s scholarship program to help
students take classes.
