Working women, self-care, sustainability, and leadership in a crisis are among the topics offered in special virtual programs from Regis University’s Anderson College of Business and Computing. Many of these lectures, conferences, and meetups are free or request a small fee. The public is welcome to attend, but a reservation is required to access the respective Zoom meeting links.
Virtual Co-working for Sustainability Practitioners: March 17
The Sustainable Economic Enterprise Development (SEED) Institute is offering virtual co-working sessions to support those who are working for a flourishing human society and a healthy planet.
Sessions for those in the sustainability field to work alongside others virtually will be at 2 p.m. on March 17, and 2 p.m. on April 14.
They are a remedy to the current disconnection many feel while working from their homes, according to SEED. More about the co-working space may be found at regis.edu/seed.
SEED Sowing Chats: March 25
Hosted by the SEED Institute, SEED Sowing Chats dig deep into sustainability with the goal of honoring humanity and the Earth.
This month, Judy Samuelson, a vice president at the Aspen Institute, will discuss her new book Six New Rules of Business: Creating Real Value in a Changing World (2021) at the 2 p.m. on March 25, Zoom webinar.
Samuelson is the founder and executive director of the Aspen Institute Business and Society Program, founded in 1998, which works with business executives and scholars to align business decisions and investments with the long-term health of society—and the planet.
The SEED Institute aims to support enterprises that steward natural and human resources while readying the next generation of business leaders to take on future sustainability challenges.
Through events, seminars, and its unique undergraduate fellowship program, SEED hopes to play a role in co-authoring a new story in which business is a partner in addressing the changes needed for humanity to move toward a thriving planet and flourishing human society.

Executive Speaker Night Series: March 30
Oscar Munoz, chairman of the board for United Airlines, will discuss leading through crisis at the next Anderson College Executive Speaker Night Series. The free event will be at 6 p.m. on March 30, on Zoom. Register for this event at regis.edu/esns.
Munoz has served in various financial and strategic capacities at some of the world’s most recognized companies, including United Airlines, AT&T, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and PepsiCo. Meet Munoz and hear first-hand what leadership skills are necessary to persevere during a crisis while maintaining the brand loyalty of consumers.
