New Board Member to Leave North

Newly elected Denver School Board Member Tay Anderson has been working at North High School, but will be leaving soon to avoid a perceived conflict of interest. “I think this is an opportunity for North to expand and serve their entire community. I want to make sure the students from STRIVE [Prep Excel] have the smoothest transition possible,” Anderson said, noting that no matter what type of school students attend (neighborhood, charter, etc), the district has an obligation to provide a quality education.
